The Mandalorian and Grogu is an upcoming Pedro Pascal-led Star Wars movie that has quietly made history by casting an iconic character in the upcoming movie. Zeb Orrelios is a character who appeared in the animated series Star Wars Rebels.
Being a Lasat, Orrelios’ planet was destroyed by the Empire. He was a member of the Honor Guard on his homeworld before joining the Rebellion. In the animated show, he was a key member of the Ghost Crew and was deemed the muscle of the team.
The actor made his live-action cameo in season 3 of The Mandalorian, wherein he was briefly seen as a pilot for the New Republic. However, things are about to change with the release of The Mandalorian and Grogu.

Well, it’s not that animated characters haven’t been turned into live-action in the Star Wars franchise before, but the scale of The Mandalorian and Grogu has made it a record.
This is the first time in the history of the Star Wars franchise that a main character from an animated show will be turned into a supporting character in a live-action movie.
The recently released trailer of The Mandalorian and Grogu attests to the fact that the two different universes are slowly trying to unify under one single canon.
Of course, hardcore fans of the Star Wars franchise are quite excited to see Zeb Orrelios on the big screens, but this time, he will also be joining two others.
Pedro Pascal Won’t Be Alone in Protecting Grogu in the Upcoming Star Wars Movie
Well, throughout three seasons, Pedro Pascal’s Mandalorian (or rather Din Djarin) has been alone in protecting Grogu from all threats. With the inclusion of Zeb Orrelios, Din Djarin will have a companion to protect Grogu since they both fight on the same side.
Many of the scenes throughout the movie will be shared between Din Djarin and Zeb Orrelios while Grogu watches them both. Of course, it will be interesting to see how Zeb Orrelios will be further introduced and enhanced in the upcoming movie.
