Khloé Kardashian and Tristan Thompson are not back together, but they are keeping up with their children. The former couple recently reunited to celebrate a major milestone for their 7-year-old daughter, True Thompson, who just started second grade.
In an Instagram post on September 6, Khloé shared photos of herself and Tristan, posing alongside True in front of the “First Day of 2nd Grade” display, filled with balloons and a giant decorative book. Khloé wrote in her caption:
Just like that, my baby is off to 2nd grade. Time is flying faster than I ever imagined. It feels like I blinked, and my baby grew up. I’m so proud of the respectful, sweet, loving, smart, beautiful girl she is, but man, this all happens so quickly. In a blink.
Their 2-year-old son, Tatum Thompson, was also present for the sweet family moment. While the adorable family photos sparked renewed speculation about the couple’s relationship, Khloé has always made it clear that they are not back together.

Khloé and Tristan began dating in 2016 and quickly became one of the most-followed couples in pop culture. In 2018, they welcomed their first child, True Thompson. However, their relationship was repeatedly rocked by cheating scandals. They broke up in 2019, when Tristan was caught kissing Jordyn Woods, Kylie Jenner’s best friend.
The couple briefly reconciled in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic and even got secretly engaged in 2021. She ended the relationship after learning of a paternity suit in 2021 that revealed he had fathered a child with Maralee Nichols. Khloé revealed she turned down the proposal due to trust issues.
Their second child, a son, was born via surrogate in August 2022, a process initiated before news broke that Tristan had fathered another child with Maralee Nichols. The public fallout was massive. In January 2022, Tristan confirmed paternity and issued a public apology to Khloé.

Yes, Khloé Kardashian is still single and happy to be. On a July 2025 episode of her Khloé in Wonder Land podcast, the 41-year-old star addressed rumors head-on (via E! News):
We’ve been broken up for… this December will be four years, so that’s a very big commitment. I don’t think Meryl Streep could pull that off. That’s crazy.
She also denied ever secretly marrying Tristan. Khloé has spoken openly about enjoying her single life. In a December 2024 interview with Bustle, she said:
Dating has not been a focus for me; I’ve been single for about three years and love it. I really, really do. But I’m not single and dating. I’m just single. I have such power and strength in that. I feel like I’m working on myself so much and am getting to such a good place that I just don’t want something to disrupt it.
