The Holy Knights were a mysterious organization for so long, but the Elbaph arc in One Piece has finally brought a few of them into the spotlight. While there are at least nine confirmed members, the narrative has only revealed five of them, including St. Figarland Garling, who has now been promoted as one of the Five Elders in One Piece.
The five Holy Knights that have been revealed in the series vary in terms of strengths and capabilities, which makes it easy to rank them. Thus, here is a list of five notable Holy Knights from weakest to strongest based on canon appearances, confirmed abilities, and implied authority within the One Piece storyline.
5. St. Shepherd Sommers
St. Shepherd Sommers was recently introduced during the Elbaph arc in One Piece, and out of all the Holy Knights revealed, he might be the weakest. However, he still has powers that justify his role as one of the Holy Knights in One Piece. In terms of Devil Fruits, Sommers has the Iba Iba no Mi Devil Fruit, which grants him the ability to create and control thorny vines.
Not only that, he also has immortality like the Five Elders and even uses the Abyss circle, which makes him a major threat. His defeat against Scopper Gaban is one of the main reasons why he ranks so low on the list. Still, there is a possibility he might prove his worth later in the story.
4. St. Rimoshifu Killingham
Saint Killingham ranks higher than Sommers because he possesses a Mythical Zoan: the Ryu Ryu no Mi, Model: Kirin, which grants him a powerful hybrid dragon-kijin form and allows him to make other people fall asleep even from a distance. He also has awakened his Devil Fruit powers, which take his capabilities to a completely different level.
Killingham can also use immortality, which has made him one of the biggest threats to Elbaph in One Piece. He plays the role of one of the main antagonists, and he was also the main culprit behind the kidnapping of the giant kids.
3. Gunko
Recent developments have revealed that Gunko is a part of the Manmayer Family, and she has been a part of the One Piece storyline since the God Valley Incident. She has a major role to play in Elbaph, as seen during her interaction with Brook. In terms of power, Gunko is in the top three because she is the direct subordinate of Figarland Shamrock.
She ate the Aro Aro no Mi, a Paramecia-type Devil Fruit which grants her the ability to create and control bandage-like arrowheads, but what makes her dangerous is Imu’s presence inside her body. Imu can easily take over Gunko’s body and use his own powers to take down any opponent in his path.
2. Figarland Shamrock
Figarland Shamrock is the current Knights’ commander in One Piece, the son of Saint Figarland Garling, and the twin brother of Red-Haired Shanks. His status as the commander makes him a powerful character, even though his capabilities are not yet completely revealed within the series. However, he does wield a dangerous sword.
His sword is named Cerberus, and it possesses the power of a mythical Zoan Devil Fruit, allowing it to take the form of a terrifying, three-headed dog. He used it to injure Loki and prove his worth as one of the strongest members of the Holy Knights in One Piece.
1. St. Figarland Garling
St. Figarland Garling is one of the Five Elders, but prior to this, he held the position of Supreme Commander of the Holy Knights. He replaced Saturn as the Warrior God of Science and Defense, and although his power and capabilities are unknown, it is safe to assume that he has an unprecedented amount of strength in One Piece.
Garling is bound to play a major role in the series because of his development within the story. Once his character takes the center stage, fans will most likely get to know more about the Holy Knights, their origin, and other major details.
