Damson Idris and Lori Harvey went their separate ways in 2023, but it looks like sparks are flying between them once more. In photos shared by TMZ, they were spotted enjoying a day out at a beach in Puerto Vallarta, about two years after their break.
Idris was dressed in black Prada swim trunks while Harvey looked stunning in a black swimsuit with her hair in a bun. In one of the photos, she is looking back at Idris and laughing, whereas in the other, he has his arm around her shoulders. Harvey is also spotted lounging on the chairs while Idris hangs out around her.

So far, neither Idris nor Harvey has confirmed the status of their relationship. However, if the past is any indication, we might have an Instagram announcement sooner or later.
What Caused Lori Harvey and Damson Idrisâ Breakup?
Damson Idris and Lori Harvey were first linked together in late 2022 when they attended Odell Beckham Jr.âs birthday party. This was after she and Michael B. Jordan broke up. After attending Lori Harvey’s birthday party, the duo made their relationship official on Instagram.
Unfortunately, in November 2023, the couple had gone their separate paths. In a joint statement given to The Hollywood Reporter, the former couple stated that their relationship had to come to an end, as they want to focus on their individual paths.
They said, “We are at a point in our lives where our individual paths require our full attention and dedication.” The statement continued, “We part ways remaining friends with nothing but love and respect for each other and the time we shared together.”
From splitting up to showing up at weddings together, and now relaxing seaside, it looks like something may be brewing between Idris and Harvey again. Have they realized their feelings for each other, or was it just a friendly outing?
Lori Harvey’s Dating History Unpacked
Unlike Idris, Harvey’s dating history is much more public, having dated a few high-profile names in the past. She was in a relationship with actor Michael B. Jordan for 18 months before their love story came to an end.
They were first spotted together during the 2020 Thanksgiving holidays, arriving in her hometown, Atlanta. Later, they were seen in Salt Lake City in late December.

The former couple went Instagram official on January 10, 2021, and would often post relationship goals to their accounts. For instance, Harvey once posted a story on her Instagram, revealing that Jordan had rented out an entire aquarium for them for their first Valentine’s Day.

She said in the video (via People), “My baby rented one the aquarium so we could do a private tour and see the turtles and then we walked into this.” They even had cute nicknames for each other, as seen in the comments section of her Instagram post. She called him her ‘nugget’ while he nicknamed her ‘turtle’. They have since removed all traces of each other from their accounts.
People confirmed their breakup in June 2022, with a source telling the outlet, “Michael and Lori are both completely heartbroken…They still love each other.” After their breakup, she was apparently upset with how her father treated him.
Harvey was also linked with rapper Future, though they did not confirm their relationship. From posting her to his story to Harvey attending his birthday party, everything hinted towards a romance between the two.

At one point, she posted a video of Future kissing her cheek on her story, with the caption, “Life is good.” Future also used the same caption while sharing a photo of them cuddling in the pool (via People).
Harvey has also been linked with Diddy, Trey Songz, Justin Combs, and Memphis Depay. As for Idris, there isn’t much to say about his love life.
