Grand Blue Season 3 has been greenlit before season 2 of the anime could even finish airing. This hilarious manga turned anime is a dream come true for comedy lovers. Fans have been waiting for its second season for 7 years, but now that season 3 has been announced, everyone is stunned.
Nonetheless, season 3 might turn out to be even more ticklish than seasons 1 and 2, and of course, some new locations will introduce new characters.
What Will Grand Blue Dreaming Season 3 Be About?
Grand Blue Dreaming season 2 adapted Iori’s house arc in its finale. This means that the next arc to be adapted is the Palau arc. The official announcement tweet also confirms that season 3 will feature Grand Blue Dreaming‘s first overseas location, Palau. The Palau arc consists of seven chapters and is a short one, like most of the series’ other arcs.
In season 3, the gang will arrive at their dream destination, Palau. After a series of hurdles and shenanigans, the group will finally be ready to enjoy the tropical waters and scenic beach. However, an unforgettable diving experience isn’t the only thing waiting for them in Palau. Additionally, should Iori and the others really be allowed to travel overseas?
The arc will also show Aina’s feelings solidifying for Iori, and it will be time for some heartfelt confessions before a bizarre test of survival ruins everything. The new season will also debut a new character called Sayaka Kotegawa, who is the manager for Dolphin’s Palau branch. She is actually the wife of Iori’s uncle Toshio and the mother of Nanaka and Chisa. There are several other characters who will debut alongside her.
