The anticipation was real for Episode 10 of Grand Blue Dreaming Season 2, wondering how Iori would react if Aina actually asked him out. However, things didn’t exactly go the way most of us had hoped, though this was more expected than surprising. Grand Blue isn’t a romance series, after all.
Although Aina did manage to ask Iori out for a movie date, he took it in a completely different way. As dull as he is, he couldn’t catch a single hint of what Aina might be up to. Even during dinner, Aina tried to confess, but her feelings once again went unnoticed by Iori.
Later in the episode, when Azusa tells Iori that Aina has to return home due to financial issues, both Iori and Kohei become genuinely concerned and try to help her in indirect ways. Nothing really worked out for the better, but their efforts were clearly there. And Aina also seemed sad leaving them.
What to Look Forward to in Grand Blue Dreaming Season 2 Episode 11?
Quite unsurprisingly, though, it turns out Aina was only leaving for a little while to help her family at their farm, and there were no major financial concerns. Azusa made it sound like that to get Iori to show concern about Aina, which was honestly a great decision.
Now, in Episode 11 of Season 2, titled ‘Let’s Go to an Uninhabited Island’, we’ll see some old faces, like Captain Kudou and Kaya Mizuki, making their return. Along with them, it seems that Iori, Kohei, Chisa, and the rest of the Peek-a-Boo swimming club will be heading off for a vacation on an island.
