One Piece is currently at the Elbaph Arc and has the most interesting mix of characters. From the appearance of Roger’s old crewmate to the God’s Knights, there were plenty of surprises waiting for us. With such a strong roster, it’s tough to figure out which characters are the most powerful and broken in the arc.
After much analysis and thought, here’s our ranking of the strongest characters involved in the Elbaph Arc. Some of these characters are ranked based on hints and speculation sprinkled throughout One Piece, so perhaps they could be weaker or stronger in the future. Without further ado, let’s dive in.
10. Dorry & Brogy

It might be cheating to add two characters in one rank, but Dorry and Brogy are always a set. The co-captains of the Giant Warrior Pirates have been dueling each other on Little Garden for 100 years, fighting 73,466 times, all ending in draws. They rejoined the storyline in the Egghead Arc, destroying the Victoria Punk with Hakoku and sinking the Kid Pirates.
Dorry and Brogy have authority over one of the strongest pirate crews in the world. As co-captains, they have to be stronger than regular giants, proven by their immense physical strength. Moreover, after resisting Topman Warcury’s blast of Conqueror’s Haki, they also have incredible will. Unfortunately, Imu is currently controlling both of them.
9. Gunko

In the Elbaph Arc, we were introduced to the God’s Knights, one of them being the mysterious Gunko. She’s part of the Manmayer Family, and thus, has a cruel attitude towards the giants and Straw Hats. With her Aro Aro no Mi, she can control others’ movements, defend herself against attacks, and throw lethal projectiles.
Gunko might be one of the biggest threats in the Elbaph Arc. Her regenerative abilities make her impossible to defeat or even subdue. She’s rather hot-tempered and doesn’t hold back on the violence. Gaban also sensed her Haki and called it abnormal, hinting at something more.
8. Sanji

As a part of the Monster Trio in the Straw Hat Pirates, it would be a disservice not to include Sanji. His raw strength, durability, speed, and genetic modifications make him one of the strongest not just in the Elbaph Arc, but across several. He’s a reliable and consistently strong character who might also get stronger in the future.
His feats in the Egghead Arc prove that Sanji isn’t fooling around. Being able to kick Kizaru’s light away isn’t something just anybody should be able to do. We can’t wait to see him in action in One Piece’s Elbaph Arc.
7. Roronoa Zoro

The unofficial first mate of the Straw Hat Pirates speaks for himself. Much like Sanji, he is among the strongest characters in many arcs, and not just Elbaph. His swordsmanship, endurance, agility, and durability make him a threat to even Admirals and the Five Elders.
Dracule Mihawk, the Strongest Swordsman in the World, trained Zoro for two years. We could see the fruits of it, especially since he can go head-to-head against several powerful enemies, like King, Rob Lucci, and more. He also has Conqueror’s Haki and might master it in this arc after Gaban made him aware of it.
6. Figarland Shamrock

This is pure speculation, since his appearance in the Elbaph Arc was brief. Figarland Shamrock, the twin brother of Shanks, is the current commander of the God’s Knights. To lead such an elite army, he has to be fairly strong.
The biggest hints at Shamrock’s overall strength are his immortality, Haki, and sword. Cerberus is a rare weapon that has been brought to life by a Mythical Zoan Devil Fruit. Loki was terrified of it, despite his strength. He was also on the panel of the top contenders for finding the One Piece. Lastly, as Shanks’ brother, he could have similar strength and skills, but for now, his true strength remains a mystery.
5. Scopper Gaban

The Left-Hand of the Pirate King is a legendary pirate and figure in One Piece’s history. Scopper Gaban was an equal to Roger and Rayleigh. He’s regarded as one of the strongest warriors in Elbaph, which is high praise. Despite his old age, he’s agile enough to keep up with Luffy.
Gaban destroyed an entire castle tower in a single move, which is meant to accommodate giants. He possesses all forms of Haki, infusing his axes with it. So far, he’s the only person who found a loophole against the God’s Knights’ immortality. He isn’t the “Mountain Eater” for nothing, and thus, he belongs in the Top 5.
4. Loki

The Accursed Prince of Elbaph is a mystery we’re waiting to unravel. Loki has a special bounty of 2,600,000,000 Berries placed on him, marking him as a significant threat. Since he’s a descendant of Ancient Giants, he’s far stronger and taller than a regular giant, even when he was a child.
The giants have said that Loki has the power to destroy the world. While we don’t know how, there have been several hints that he holds a legendary Devil Fruit. He’s also implied to have Conqueror’s Haki. Although he’s currently not at full strength, he’s durable enough to sustain the damage the God’s Knights inflicted, which should’ve killed anyone else.
3. Monkey D. Luffy

For once, Luffy isn’t at the first rank, but the competition is tough in the Elbaph Arc. He still made it to the Top 3, which says a lot about how far he’s come. Ever since he awakened his Devil Fruit, he’s been practically invincible.
Scopper Gaban, a legendary pirate, tapped out of the battle when he unleashed Gear 5. Luffy has also mastered all forms of Haki. It would be a mistake not to consider the protagonist near the top. We can expect to see more action and iconic moments from him, possibly a fight against the God’s Knights and Imu, once the manga finishes Loki’s flashback.
2. Harald

As the most recent King of Elbaph, Harald commanded an entire army of giants and was a descendant of the Ancient Giants. He was considerably taller and stronger than a regular giant, much like his son. His physical abilities are on another level, as he could crush other giants’ heads and leap from the Red Line without any issues.
Rocks D. Xebec incessantly invited Harald to be on his crew, holding his strength in high regard, and they often clashed, with all their battles ending in a draw. His Conqueror’s Haki even knocked the legendary pirate out. It’s safe to say that Harald is among the strongest in the Elbaph Arc, despite existing in flashbacks.
1. Imu

We never expected the hidden main antagonist of One Piece to enter the battlefield, but here we are. By possessing Gunko, Imu didn’t hesitate to confront several members of the Giant Warrior Pirates. Their demonic abilities converted their personalities, making them their slaves.
We don’t know enough about their powers, but Imu can summon any object via their grimoire. This allows them to use any weapon imaginable. Moreover, their body can transform into demonic creature, which we saw during their fight against Sabo. Imu also drained Saturn’s life force. Moreover, Vegapunk believes they might have one of the Ancient Weapons.
Imu isn’t just broken in the Elbaph Arc, but in all of One Piece. While other characters’ rankings might change, the hidden ruler will remain at the top. Do you agree with our Top 10 characters in the Elbaph Arc? Let us know in the comments below!
