Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba Infinity Castle has broken the box office record for having the biggest domestic opening for an anime film, even beating James Bond’s best movie!
With the release of Infinity Castle on September 12, the film has had a domestic box office opening of a whopping $33 million.

Although it’s a record in itself, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba Infinity Castle has also managed to break the record of Daniel Craig’s best James Bond movie, Skyfall.
According to Box Office Mojo, Skyfall had an opening box office collection of $30 million during its premiere. Well, it seems that the animated flick has overtaken the highly coveted James Bond franchise by a margin of $3 million! That really tells you something about the hype for this movie.

Well, of course, with Kibutsuji Muzan entering and subduing Tamayo, he retreats to his stronghold, where all the Hashira are transported with a single snap.
The stakes are as high as they can be, as this maze hides many secrets and demons (including Upper Demons). With Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and the other Hashira trapped in this ever-changing maze of a castle, they have to fight their way out of it… or die trying.
With the movie getting hyped beyond mortal levels (with some even claiming that it’s better than Attack on Titan: Shingeki No Kyojin), the Demon Slayer movie has been getting much attention and fame, and its opening day box office collection proves that.
