Confidence Queen Episode 3 premieres on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at 9:10 PM KST, exclusively on TV Chosun and Coupang Play domestically. For international viewers, the episode will be available to stream on Amazon Prime Video.
In the first two episodes, we saw the highly genius Yi-rang and the team con a swindler acting as a shaman, and then later Jung Woong-in, a loan shark kingpin. But as we saw by the end of the second episode, Park Min-young’s Yoon Yi-rang isn’t just a talented con artist but has apparently been planning her targets for some time.
Moreover, we discover that Jong Jong-hyuk’s Myung Gu-ho and Yi-rang have known each other since they were kids. And in the closing moments of the second chapter, we see Yi-rang looking at a board she made about Myung-ho’s disappearance from a water park with details written down and newspaper clippings attached.
Confidence Queen Season 1 Episode 3 Will Potentially Reveal More About Yi-rang’s Past

In the first two episodes of the kdrama, we caught a slight glimpse into Yi-rang’s past. From her initial meeting with Gu-ho to her later tracking him down while he was working, their pasts seem intertwined.
Although the tease at the end of the episode about Gu-ho’s kidnapping hints that the plot is more serious than we thought, we will potentially see more about their past.
As for Yi-rang herself, the second episode showcased that she was potentially kidnapped by a shadow organisation and forced to play psychological games while being abused, mentally or physically. This cult-like setting seemingly shaped her motivations and intelligence under pressure.
Either she escaped or they dropped her off at an orphanage, leading her to craft a revenge plan, a glimpse of which we have already seen. While the previous installments dropped breadcrumbs about her upbringing in a psychologically manipulative environment, we can expect the third episode to reveal more of the same.
Confidence Queen Episode 3 Reunites Park Min-young With Marry My Husband Co-star

While Yi-rang’s elaborate revenge missions may stem from deep-seated trauma, the third episode will have her tackle a client named Wu Sol. The character will reportedly feature Park Min-young’s Marry My Husband co-star Lee Yi-Kyung.
Wu Sol is reportedly an art critic who uses his status to harass women. The promo for the next episode hinted at a romance brewing between Yi-rang and Wu Sol, only to fool the famous art critic (see YouTube). The camo lends a nostalgic layer to the heist humor, offering fans a thrilling time.
Episode 3 of Confidence Queen will continue the fun, high-tension ride while peeling back the layers of Yi-rang’s past. Between slick heists, psychological nuance, and nostalgic chemistry, it’s shaping into an unmissable hour of television.
