In the history of the wrestling business, we have witnessed several names that have been phenomenal on the microphone. However, none of them could come close to matching the promo skills of John Cena. From riling up the fans or firing verbally loaded insults at fellow WWE Superstars, he could do it all and with ease.
Interestingly, in the 23 years of loyal service to Vince McMahon’s wrestling empire, ‘The Cenation Leader’ has been part of several segments and gimmicks. He has said things that would get him cancelled today, and some can even say that his harrowing insults and his rap full of d**k jokes caused the PG Era of WWE.
With that being said, Cena has crossed the line on several occasions against women, which made him look no less than a heel. Here are five popular instances of John Cena’s ruthless digs at the women of WWE.
5. Vicky Guerrero
Vicky Guerrero is one of the most notorious female heel figures in the company, a name fans may still recall for saying, “Excuse me!” She was an amazing asset to the company, who was ready to be insulted on a weekly basis if it entertained the fans. In 2010, during a segment of Monday Night RAW (via YouTube), John Cena was talking about going to WrestleMania.
Out of nowhere, Guerrero came out with Dolph Ziggler, already getting drowned in the sea of boos from the fans. ‘The GOAT’ started off with light jabs, claiming how he can’t hear because of the “hatred in the air.” The boos from the fans grew louder and louder every time she tried to address Cena, making him laugh at her and Ziggler.
‘The 17-time Champion’ asked the crowd to be respectful but was again booed when she tried to speak. However, that was the beginning because he asked WWE to play a clip where Vicky Guerrero was paired with Jerry Lawler, who made a fat joke at her expense. Once the clip ended, Lawler made another fat joke, and Cena clapped back, claiming she’s so fat that she “wakes up in sections.”
John Cena and Jerry Lawler took turns cracking jokes about her, leaving her frustrated and hurt. But the real mic drop moment came when he told Ziggler that he was first afraid of the dark, but ever since he saw Vicky Guerrero “n**ed,” he has been afraid of the light.
4. Hiroko
John Cena was a menace back in the day, when he used to play the ‘Doctor of Thuganomics’ gimmick, where he would diss his opponents in rap battles. One such incident happened in a 2005 segment of SmackDown (via YouTube), where he not only destroyed Kenzo Suzuki and his real-life spouse, Hiroko Suzuki.
In that segment, he called Kenzo Suzuki nothing more than a “chump in a suit” and said he was looking “really gay,” and somebody should give him a pole because he looked like a flag. He immediately scrapped the idea and told him to go on a date with Michael Cole to get the “pole.” ‘The Prototype’ shifted his attention to Hiroko Suzuki, and how they will be in the right place, where he dropped the infamous lines,
I don’t do makeup, girl, but I can help you with the white face.
The comments left her flabbergasted, and Cena looked quite proud of himself as the WWE Universe started to cheer him. He even told her to loosen the kimono and give him a “little glance,” and in return, he will let her have a “long look at the dragon in my pants.”
The comments surely made her feel uncomfortable, and she turned her gaze in shame. The rap battle transitioned into testing Kenzo Suzuki’s loyalty towards Hiroko Suzuki, as several divas walked out, which ultimately culminated in an all-out brawl between Cena and Suzuki.

3. Stephanie McMahon
As if the offensive diss tracks were not enough, John Cena decided to rap his way to spank Stephanie McMahon during a SmackDown segment (via YouTube). In 2003, she came out to make an announcement, but was interrupted by ‘The Chaingang Soldier.’
He claimed that he had a dream about her, while talking, he got lost, looking at her “targets” and how five of his girlfriends want to “beat him,” gesturing his wrist. He went overboard and claimed that he wants to “smack that a**.” Check out the clip below:

Stephanie McMahon dared her to do it and angled her back, letting Cena to s**nk her. He did and started jumping with excitement, and the crowd was excited as he got his way with her. The Peacemaker actor also offered her $20 to rip Sable’s top off during their match at the Vengeance PPV of that year.
2. AJ Lee
During the New Year’s Eve segment of RAW in 2012 (via YouTube), Dolph Ziggler and AJ Lee were celebrating the year of ‘The Showoff’ for having an outstanding year and engaged in a passionate kiss. John Cena’s theme song plays, and he comes out and discusses her past relationships and how they are ready to tie the knot and share their morph pictures.
Then, he went on to share a merged picture of Ziggler and Lee’s baby, and how, eventually, he will learn that the 3-time Divas Champion has a group of kids, sharing another morphed picture of babies having the faces of the wrestlers from the men’s division. He called out Ziggler, reminding him how his time in WWE is full of excuses and that he will blame others for his failures.
‘The Natural’ took a shot at Cena’s wardrobe, but that was a big mistake because that allowed ‘Mr. Hustle, Loyalty, and Respect’ to clap back at their dresses. The segment concluded with ‘Super Cena’ making a toast that they are full of and dropping p**p on them.
1. Lita
The rivalry between Edge and John Cena is one of the biggest career highlights of both wrestlers, where they gave it all during their matches. In the crossfire of their heated feuds, Edge’s on-screen partner, Lita, was caught in the crossfire, where she was vehemently shamed by Cena for dating so many wrestlers.
During his promos, he would constantly take verbal jabs at Lita. One of the many moments was when, during a segment, he called her a “one-woman h**ker parade.” He acknowledged how some people believe that he “s**ks,” but everyone will agree that she s**ks. The WWE Universe cheered on that, and he told her that she could “bank on that.”
But that was the beginning, as Cena made it a personal mission of his to target her each week, saying some of the abysmal stuff before the PG. Check out the clip below:

However, he would often cross the line;one time he roasted her, saying that shaking hands with her gave him gonorrhea. Additionally, we can’t forget the “-Ho” segment where he narrated a story featuring Edge and Lita.
John Cena was clearly a menace before the PG era, but do you think that it was right for him to insult the women of WWE to such an extent? Let us know in the comments below!
