2XKO Friend Code: Is It Possible to Get One Now?

If you’re wondering whether it’s possible to get a friend code right now for the 2XKO closed beta, the short answer is yes—but only if you know someone already in the beta. Riot isn’t giving out unlimited codes, and you can’t just sign up and get access. And since each participant’s referral code is capped at three uses, it means that there are limited slots, and they’re filling up.

How to Get a 2XKO Friend Code

If you’re one of the players lucky enough to gain entry into the 2XKO closed beta, Riot Games has given you the chance to bring others along. Each participant receives a referral code that can be used up to three times, meaning you can share access with friends who didn’t make it in through the normal registration process.

The easiest way to find your code is through the official 2XKO website. After logging in, head to the Closed Beta tab on the top side of the page. Now, even if you’re already logged in and part of the beta, click “Register.” Instead of a sign-up page, you’ll be directed to a page that tells you that you’re already in. Scroll down on this page to find your referral code.

From there, it’s just a matter of copying the code and passing it along. One important note: the closed beta is PC-only, so PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S players will have to wait until the full release later in 2025. And as usual, all progress during this testing phase will be reset. So you don’t have to fear that you’re missing out on anything.

What Else is Happening in the 2XKO Beta?

Part of the reason friend codes are in such demand is that 2XKO’s closed beta just went live yesterday. And on top of that, the gaming is shaping up to be one of the most beginner-friendly fighting games ever made. Riot has stripped away many of the genre’s traditional barriers, introducing universal inputs, simplified combos, and auto-combos that ease new players into the systems.

The closed beta is out with a starting roster that includes nine champions so far. They are Ahri, Ekko, Darius, Yasuo, Illaoi, Braum, Jinx, Vi, and Blitzcrank. On top of this, we’re also expecting a 10th mystery fighter to be released during the test.

For now, if you don’t have a friend code, the best bet is to sign up through the official Riot portal and wait. Since the devs haven’t announced an end date for the beta, there’s a high chance that they will expand the testing slots over time.
